It was a happy, but tired Schumacher who finished in Alta at 04:16 Sunday morning with only one more musher behind him in this year’s FL1000. He was pleased with the race and the 28th place, but said in a comment that the person who had fooled him into thinking there were no hills in Finnmark, he did not know what he was talking about. He thinks Finnmarksløpet is a very tough race, but he wants to return next year.
