There was no end to the prizes when the mushers who had finished FL500 were given their rewards. Many had turned up in Alta in order to see the musher get their prizes.

Nice setting

Many spectators had found the way to Alta to see the mushers get their prizes. Friendly elf and girls in traditional Sami costume created a nice setting together with rough-looking mushers. There were flags representing all the nations present and beautifully performed national hymns by Alta Kammerkor. Deputy mayor Hilde Søraa handed out the gifts together with the representative from the Norwegian Musher Association.
