Ledende Ralph Johannesen ankom Neiden II med god fart og spreke hunder. Nå skal det hviles, i hvert fall noe.

Ralph Johannessen, who is in the lead, arrived at Neiden II in good speed and with fit dogs. Now it is time for them to rest, at least for a little while.

He has used 5 hours and 48 minutes, which means an average speed of 12,9 km per hour. Johannesen is still fit and answers questions from the press. Has he seen any of the others behind him? No, he has not, which is not surprising with him being more than an hour ahead of them.

He is asked if he will manage to keep the lead all the way to the finish, but says that it is a long way to go. If any of the others cuts downtheir restingtime just a little bit , they will be able to beat him. But he points out that everybody have to rest; otherwise it will go way to slow. And this is what makes it exciting: who is best at arranging their resources?
