Just after 10.30am today two south European teams crossed the finish line in Alta.
Miguel-Angel Martinez has now finished his seventh FM500, while it is the first time José Sacristan is able to finish. Last time he tried, in 2006, he had to scratch at Jotka on his way out. It is impressive to be able to come back and finish after such an experience. The two Catalonians took on the challenge together and finished as two tiered but happy mushers.
