TV-success for Finnmarksløpet

Finnmarksløpet er en suksess også på TV. Lørdagens program fra første dag av jubileumsløpet var det 15. mest sette programmet på norsk tv i forrige uke.

Finnmarksløpet is a success also on TV. Saturday's program from the first day of the jubilee-race was the 15^th most viewed program on Norwegian TV last week.  

NRK is focusing on Finnmarksløpet this year, and it seems like the public wants to follow the race from Finnmark. According to NRK’s own numbers, the program on Saturday evening was the 15^th most seen program on Norwegian TV last week. There were 620 000 viewers watching the program just after 10pm.

A surprise

The leader of NRK’s Analyses, Kristian Tolonen, is some what surprised over the numbers.

- This is not what we consider our main sport, but it seems to be a real interest for this out there, he comments.
