Tension rises out from Levajok, Harald Tunheim has left and all other favourites follow behind.
Excitement is already high early on in the 1000-kilometer race. Harald Tunheim left Levajok at 07:28 AM. Ralph Johannessen followed behind at 08:32 AM, only one hour after 11 mushers left the checkpoint, all of them favourties to win the race. It looks as if we get a pursuit with Tunheim against the rest. Reports says that all teams have a lot of energy and noone have special problems. Tracks and conditions are also great, so great that new record-times were set across the mountain plateau 'Gaissene' to Levajok.
