Jan Brunner - Trondheim - crossed the finish line this afternoon and came just 34 minutes later after the winner in the 500 km race. It was a very content dog sled driver, who competet hard with Dahlby. Brunner was one hour behind Dahlby from Soussjavre, which makes it obviuos that he and his dogs kept up a good speed when driving to Alta. It makes one wonder that if the race was a bit longer, might he than have ranked a higher place? Some drivers do experience that the dogs begin to get more fresh as the race gets closer to the end. That could mean that Brunner has a good manage with his dogs.
