Polaris gives an ATV as first prize in both the 1000 km and the 500 km class!
As FL2010 marks the 30 year anniversary for the race, Polaris Norway, sponsor of Finnmarksløpet over many years wishes to do something special.
It is with great pleasure Finnmarksløpet informs that Polaris offers 2 ATVs as 1st prizes in the 2010 race, one in each class. ATVs are very popular among mushers who use them for training when there is no snow or no conditions for sleds.
1st prize in the 500 km race is a Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O. 4X4 registered with black plates, 2010 model, worth approx NOK 80.000-. Read more about the prize here klikk her

Polaris also contributes 8 new Widetrak snowmobiles for the tracks and 4 snowmobiles to media and staff every year. This year the Widetraks are special Finnmarksløp-editions and will be sold for a reasonable price after the race. In other words: if you have plans to invenst in a snowmobile, this gives a great opportunity! Widetrak FS IQ is a fantastic work-machine, as well as a greater comfort than earlier models.
Finnmarksløpet thinks it is important and is happy that the prizes in the 500 km race also get better. - We are proud and happy that Polaris is part of the team, says Executive Manager of Finnmarksløpet Gro Anett Olaussen.
