140 mushers had signed up for Finnmarksløpet 2010 before the deadline to participate in the first draw for startnumbers. Fabrizio Lovati from Italy starts first in the 1000 km, and Magnus Voie from Alta/Svartlamon is first musher out in the 500 km race.
Once again a record-many mushers have signed up for Finnmarksløpet in September. Compared to last year almost 50 mushers more have registered this time. 83 teams were part of the draw in the 500 km, and 57 teams in the 1000 km race. We will get back with more news and comments on the first draw for Finnmarksløpet 2010.
