Sten Arne Harder from Kirkenes was the first to cross the finish line in the 500 km race. He succeeded in this third attempt to win. Both Harder and his dogs were in extremely good conditions when they arrived. - I look forward to have a nice, hot shower, Harder said as he tasted the champagne and gave his leader dog, Edel, a piece of salmon to eat. Only half an hour later arrived Petter Dalby who ranked as second.
