Just like last year Trond Ørslien crossed the finishing line as number three. He came to Alta at 08.58 p.m. tonight, and he was congratulated by an enthusiastic audience. He says that this year's Finnmarksløp is the hardest race he has participated in so far.
Ørslien has participated in Finnmarksløpet four times earlier, with last year's third place as his best placing. This year's race was hard due to ice, rocks and large areas with hardly any snow at all. Luckily he has had good help in his four-legged running machines. - Bruno has been going in first in the dog-team from start to finish, he says, and the audience gives the dog an applause.
Both Brennodden and Haaland finished before him. - She was racing faster than me, and I needed to rest longer, he explains.
