It is not just a small accomplishment to complete a Finnmarksløpet. And Melanie Clegg got the taste of it, after spotting the lights of Alta. As the last team, she crossed the finish line at 00.41 this night, with all her dogs still on the sledge. The dog team looked good and was welcomed by some faithful fans. They had been waiting after they heard she passed the Jotka checkpoint at 16.04. The team thought that it would be good to make the dogs rest after Jotka. Clegg rested with them. Now the Manchester-girl is at last on her place in Alta. The Finnmarksløpet congratulates her efforts.
