Inger-Marie Haaland leaves two dogs in Neiden II, and goes on with 11 dogs. This however is two more dogs than competitor Tunheim came in with, and one less than Dahl who has left the checkpoint. Skramstad is the only one who came to Neiden II with all 14 dogs.

Inger-Marie Haaland got problems with one of her dogs on the stage Kirkenes-Neiden II. It was one of her biggest dogs that had to be put in the sled after it refused to go on any longer. This slowed down the speed quite a bit. When she arrived at Neiden II she had to leave one more dog that refused to continue. The speed is good on the rest of the dog-team however, says her handler Ralph Johannessen.
