The only racer from Polen this year is Dariusz Morsztyn, he was saluted by a enthusiastic filmteam from his home country when he crossed the finish line in Alta centre this afternoon. He is satisfied, proud and happy that he managed to finished 50- miles in just three days. His best memory from the journey will be the close experience to nature.

An hour after he arrived Alta he was still surprised by himself that he managed to complete 50 miles on the sled through Finnmark in just three days. A smiling Dariusz is telling us that this is a big happening to him and his goal this year was to finish the race in less than five days. Last year he had to quit at Skoganvarre, because of the weather.

Want to make an exhibition
During his journey he have been taking photos of the beautiful nature that he can use together with souvenirs from Finnmark to make an exhibition on his museum in Poland. Again he is talking about his good experience with the nature and the landscape he have seen this three days. He is also telling us that he talked to the gods that followed him true the whole race.

Followed by a TV-team
Daruisz morsztyn was followed by a polish TV-team during his race. They are working on a documentary about him and his competition in Finnmarksløpet. The team had to focus on the documentary, but they worked as handlers to Morsztyn as well. They did an fabulous job for me and my dogs. With a joke in his face he says that they have done a great job feeding him.
