Elisabeth Edland left Jergul at 8.06 am with 7 dogs. The experienced musher from Nannestad is 54 minutes behind Skjerve, but has the advantage of having one more dog in her team, and can not be underestimated on the long strech towards Alta. The conditions of the tracks are good and are similar to the conditions from Karasjok. There are little snow on some stretches, and drifting snow can also occur, according to the track crew, who belives there can be a new record time in to Alta this year.
