Kjell Brennodden, Folldal came in first to Neiden I and he is the fastest of the mushers that have made it in. He was 23 minutes faster than Inger Marie Haaland.

Harald Tunheim, who was the first musher out from Tana Bru, used 1 h 17 min more than Brennodden on this leg. Tunheim came in to the checkpoint with one dog in his sleigh and said it had been a difficult leg. Stein Håvard Fjestad and Sigrid Ekran came together in to Neiden, which means that Ekran have taken 28 min on Fjestad.

We can presume that these mushers will take their 16 hour rest at Neiden I, unless someone is innovative and tough enough to continue to Kirkenes before the long rest?
