Erle Frantzen was, after a few closer analyses, signed out the hospital in Hammerfest today.
It was only a few kilometers before the checkpoint in Skoganvarre that the driver Øyvind Mortensen found Erle Frantzen next to her dog sledge. With some help of a passing by family on scooters they managed to bring Frantzen to the checkpoint for medical help. The race doctor Øystein Furnes assumed that she had a concussion, and to be sure he sent her to Hammerfest for a CT-scan. - With a CT-scan we can look after bleedings, something that wasn't found on Erle, said nurse Anette Sievers-Dalby.
Frantzen is now in optimal shape and was therefor signed out today.
