Harald Tunheim has checked in to Levajok at 07:14 with 11 dogs pulling the sledge. He used 6 hours og 25 minutes out on the trail between Sirbma and Levajok. It is an hours longer that he used last year.

Harald tells that it has been the worst interval so far. In spite of being one of the shortest intervals during the whole race. According to Tunheim the reason was a tremendously variable trail on the interval.
Was Tunheim's rest in Sirbma too short?
Tunheim's handler, Martin Fiksen, says - This is simple because at this point everyone is getting less sleep that they hope for.

Harald Tunheim rested just 1 hour and 5 minutes at the Sirbma check-point. That is not a lot and keeps us wondering if he is driving too fast towards the 8 hours mandatory rest in Karasjok. Are the dogs getting tired and disobient because of that? Is Tunheim forced to give up his leader position to Ørslien? Trond Ørslien got a longer rest in Sirbma than Tunheim. Is he just going to be driving right through Levajok? We are excited to follow up the mushers!
