We are on the right track.

As many as 250 volunteers who will be working during the Finnmarksløpet race. An orientation meeting was held last week for those working as ”leading “ volunteers during this years race. Race executive Harald Tunheim (photo)could smile after the meeting while concluding that the race is on the right track.

As Finnmarksløpet is a big event, it is crucial that everyone is well informed in advance about their tasks during the race.

10 out of 43 members in Alta Trekkhundklubb will participate in this years race. It is clear that they, as all other participants, are very dependent on the volunteers. Many of the volunteers are very loyal and sign up year after year.

Harald Tunheim, the main leder in arranging Finnmarksløpet, ended the meeting by informing that planmaking of Finnmarksløpet is on the right track.
