Finnmarksløpet’s Sport committee have decided the procedure of choosing the winner of Saltdalshytta which will be set up for the best musher in the 1000km race in 2008 and 2009 combined.
The final criterion will then be the following:
1. criterion: Lowest sum of place numbers in both races.
2. criterion: In case of equality in the 1st criterion, lowest total time in both races counted in minutes.
In case of equality both in criteria 1 and 2 the winner of Saltdalshytta will be decided by drawing of lots.
