This year's party for volunteers was held on 8th September. Many of Finnmarkslopet's friends and volunteers were there to make it a good rounding-off to this year's race, as well as give a start to 2008's proceedings.
The party consisted of dinner, coffee and the music of dance band Mirage. During the evening, the official draw was held for the start list for both classes in the 2008 race. Prizes were awarded and votes og thanks given to those who had assisted with the 2007 race. Øytun folk high school received extra praise for their long association and efforts with the race, something that was warmly welcomed both by members of Oytun and the rest of the guests.
- It is now only 6 months until the start of the 2008 race. We have rolled up our sleeves and are hard at work with the 2008 race, rounded off Tor Erling Langjord, responsible for the race start.
