Kjell Brennodden has gotten many good places before in Finnmarksløpet and this year, as the tenth year for him, he got the second place. Brennodden explained: "This year is very easy for driving up, and I have gotten a really good sled as well." He says that he didn't have any special driving plan or tactics for the race. "I drive on intuition. But when I passed Harald on the river, he didn't have chance anymore", says Kjell Brennodden with a big smile.

"You sneak." That was Harald Tunheim's first comment when he saw Kjell Brennodden after passed the finish line. It was just a few kilometers befor the finishing, on Alta river, Harald Tunheim was caught up by Kjell Bennodden. From there Brennodden drove right from his old competitor.

"I knew that  Bergby and Brennodden drove really fast for the last days and I knew they would reach me. I saw that Brennodden drove slowly on the mountains, but suddenly he was in Sorrisniva. He is a man, he's worth to respect for me", says Hrald Tunheim, "Brennodden's kick food went like drumsticks, so I have to be satisfied with the third place, since Bergby and Brennodden have driven so fast at the end", Harald says.
