When Tore Bergby left Levajok early Thursday morning, a lot of the responsibility lies on his leader-dog Buck.
Buck was born in 2001 at Bergbys kennel in Luksefjell. - Call him the Luksefjellprince, encourages Tores girlfriend, Hilde Askildt. - It's Tores dog. They two have got a good contact, they trust eachother, she says. When it comes to Bucks abilities, this dog has it all: An incredible will, speed, the will to go and excellent steering capabilities. As mentioned before Buck is a fast dog, and the avarage velocity from Sirma to Levajok speaks for it self: 15.4 km/h. Hilde Askildt tells us that it is Buck who sets the speed in the team. - Without him it stops, can Tore Bergby tell us.
