Rough experience
Earlier in the race Kolstad had to set out her best and most important leader. Then she understood that it would be difficult to fight for the victory.
- Edland and Meier drove faster than me, so all in all I am very satisfied, says Kolstad who won Femund 400 km one month ago. She said that it is a big difference between the Fermund race and Finnmarksløpet.
- I'm proud of my dogs because it was mentally hard for them to run here. This has been a rough experience, said Mona Kolstad.
Impressive fourth place
John Øivind Selmer, Porsgrunn, also from the sled- dog club Mush, came in as number 4, at 23:13, just 5 minutes after Kolstad.
