Heinesen was missed for a while, but is now found in good condition. Heinesen is now at Joakta. He got food poisoning and has been hindered bacause of this. Heinesen's main goal was to make the journey and not to fight at the to of the result-list at the finish.
- Afterwards it is easy to see that I should not have started with food-poisoning but with so many people around and all teh attention it was hard to decide not to start, he says.
"The dogs are fine but it's a bit hard for them since my sled is really heavy and it goes through the snow". Heinesen says that he has more than 30 kg of food and that the sled will become lighter the more the dogs eat.
Now Jakup will eat some food and sleep a bit in Joatka before the journey continues to Skoganvarre. If the stomach takes some food I will make to Skoganvarre. If my stomach can hold some food the next stage will probably go better. at the last stage I was so dehydrated and tired that I fell asleep behind the sled.
Heinesen doesn't know how far he will make it. - At least I have to manage to Skoganvarre. After that I will take one stage at the time.
