Cabinprice : If you do it well in these next years in Finnmarksløpet you can win a cabin like this. This cabin is called Rago.

Jan Peter Pettersen, manager of the company "Saltdalshytta" tells that Finnmarksløpet is an arena that Saltdalshytta wish to profile. The values of outdoor life, sport and activeness that Finnmarksløpet represent are also values we want to be associated with, says Pettersen. Finnmarksløpet is Europe's longest and the world's northest sled-dog race and compete with Iditarod to be the best. This year Finnmarksløpet has more participants and more nationalities than Iditarod. A price like this will help to strengthen the international profile Finnmarksløpet has in comparison to the Iditarod, explains Finnmarksløpet's CEO Hanne Rosenberg.

We want to rise the drivers's motivation

The race leader, Jan-Arne Jakobsen is sure that this price will rise the drivers's motivation to take part in Finnmarksløpet. We think this price from Saltdalhytta will convey other businesses to give better contributions to the race. This will help the race get bigger attention, better participation and hopefully rising recruiting, continues Jakobsen.

Can contribute to spinn-off effect

Saltdalshytta is one of Norway's biggest cabin's provider and has the whole of Norway as market. This can contribute to spinn-off effects for Finnmarksløpet where also other types of cooperating partners will come on to the arena, says Rosenberg and refers to the main assembly, furnishings and location which is not included in this price. The price is for the 1000 km race.
