Reindeerherders collaborate with FL07

Some parts of the course of Finnmarksløpet go through areas where the reindeer graze. This can turn into complications for both reindeer-owners and mushers. The owners of the reindeer now decided to stop a flock of reindeer which is on the way to move to their spring place. The owners show a great will to cooperate and decided to wait two days before they move the animals. They work with the reindeer-industry, the course-responisble Magne Johansen says. A flock of 10'000-12'000 reindeer would have been in the way of the mushers between Skoganvarre and Levajok if the owners had not been willing to wait.
