A lot of snow with good proportions

Every year at this time the Finmarksløpet track crew are working at full speed to mark and prepare the track. They are reporting good tracks with a lot of snow over the whole race area.

Krister Hök reports about a new exit in Skiippagurra, that crosses the road immediately when coming out of the checkpoint. This exit now makes it easier for the crews at the station, because now they do not need to send people far to help the teams over the road.

This year Finnmarksløpet has recieved help from the Tana and Nesseby communitiss to mark the trails. Tana is making sure that the whole Tana River is marked with wooden stakes.
