For the fifth year running, the dog-sledding students of Pasvik FHS will have responsibility for the checkpoint at Neiden.

For the fifth year running, the dog-sledding students of Pasvik FHS will have the pleasure of running the checkpoint at Neiden. This is something we have looked forward to since the beginning of the school year. Finnmarksløpet is obviously a high point for us in the course of the year. Some former students enjoyed the experience so much that they are travelling back from Germany, Ålesund and Bodø, just to participate once more.

Focus
Being on hand during Finnmarksløpet is, of course, very educational when it comes to everything to do with dogs and dog-sledding. It is also beneficial for us because we get to experience a dog race from the inside and we learn to work under pressure, in quite a different way to what we are used to, either as individuals or as a group. During the whole Finnmarksløpet, we will focus our thoughts on the dogs, the mushers and each other.

Surprise
We look forward to meeting everyone who comes to Neiden, and we can promise a small surprise for the first musher to our checkpoint.
