Businesses are recognising the benefits of advertising their products through the arena of Finnmarksløpet. Dekk Partner AS are now an official partner of Finnmarksløpet and the company has also begun to sponsor musher Ida Karlstrøm (21) with equipment and economic support.

Dekk Partner AS are now an official partner of Finnmarksløpet and the company has also begun to sponsor musher Ida Karlstrøm (21) with equipment and economic support. The company’s Administrative Director, Leif Kristiansen, says that Finnmarksløpet has been chosen because of the race’s international profile and the chance to create new winners.

Extremely suprised
During Finnmarksløpet’s presse conferance on Tuesday 13 February, Dekk Partner surprised Ida Karlstrøm with a brand new racing sled and other equipment. - This has come as a complete surprise, said Karlstrøm, full of delight. She has chosen to dedicate 100% of her time to dog-sledding, and is dependent on economic support to achieve this. Karlstrøm will take part in the 1000 km Finnmarksløpet for the first time, and she has already set her sights on racing in the Iditarod.

Executive Manager for Finnmarksløpet, Hanne Rosenberg, says that to have such an important business partner as Dekk Partner is a milestone in the race’s history. - It shows that the race has really developed, and that many businesses are recognising the worth of visibly supporting us, says Rosenberg.
