- This was totally horrible and the toughest I have experienced as Musher, says May Conny Johansen directly after she arrived at the checkpoint in Levajok. She does not envy those that will have to cross the mountains in this kind of weather. The strong wind blows the snow onto the trail and turns this into an extremely difficult stage.

May-Conny feels that those ahead of her are racing a really tough competition, may be even towards the limits. - You may have to do this to win. Right now I want to just focus on my dogs . They need to get the necessary rest, explains May-Conny

Roger Dahl left behind

May-Conny says that it might be quite some time before Roger Dahl will be coming. -In the mountains the conditions are really tough and I do not expect Roger to be here before tomorrow morning.

Tired and very exhausted

Right now I am not sure whether or not I will continue, says May-Conny. If it had not been for healthy and motivated dogs, I never would have made it. May Connys team looked very well and veterenarian Marit Holm found no injuries after a quick check.
