The last two teams in the 500 km class left Jotka shortly after eight this morning. They are expected to arrive goal today at 12.30 at the earliest.
Paul Antoni Nilsen and Dan Ditlefsen left Jotka at 08.10 and 08.15. They will spend about four and a half to five hours on their way to the finish line in Alta.
These two mushers have the fastest and the slowest racetime on the last leg - the one between Jergul and Jotka. Dan Ditlefsen spent 6 hours and 6 minutes on this stage, which is 34 minutes less than Erle Frantzen who won the 500 km race.
These two teams have rested a lot in many check points and are going to end the race in style. Well done guys!
