Earlier this evening the volunteers at the checkpoint Varangerbotn got ready to welcome the leader of Finnmarksløpet Harald Tunheim. He seems to arrive much sooner than expected.
- I believe he will be here already at two or two thirty tonight, says Finnmarksløpets service leader Reidar Pedersen. The conditions are extremely good right now, he continues. There are candle lights on the ice and the moon creates a magic light above Varangerfjorden.
