As first musher in the 1000 km distance, who reached the middle of the race by arriving in Kirkenes, Harald Tunheim received a great present of the Reiselivsforum in Kirkenes and the Sør-Varanger municipality. Presented were the gifts from the vice mayor of Sør-Varanger to a very content Tunheim.
The prize from Reiselivsforum, a parent organization of the travel companies in Kirkenes, contains travel, stay, rental car and exciting experiences in Kirkenes, worth of 17 500 NOK (ca. 2 300€). The Sør-Varanger municipality treats a chic sweater from the town.
