At 21.26, exactly 2 days, 9 hours and 3 minutes after she left Alta Saturday, Erle Frantzen from Valdres arrived Alta and became winner of the Finnmarksløpet 500 kilometer race. This means that she is also the Norwegian Champion in long distance Dog Sled Races over 500 kilometers. At 21.41, 15 minutes after Arne Liaklev from Randsverk crossed the finish lane. He got the an excellent second place in this race that has become a race between mushers from Oppland.

As if it wasn't enough with two persons from Oppland is this close race, it was only 33 minutes until Nina Skramstad from Hadeland crossed the finish line. This gives us a triple Opplands-victory this evening after 500 cold kilometers around the mountain plateau.
