Believe in victory for Stein Are Harder in 500 km

Stein Are Harder wins this years 500-km-Finnmarksløpet. This believes the experienced commentator Trønd Ørslien. Nevertheless he counts on hard competition for Harder, especially on the part of some strong women.

- Kati Meyer, Elisabeth Edland and Erle Frantsen all are really strong mushers and will surely be asserting for the lead. But this year I believe that Stein Are Harder's experience and will to win are going to take him to the victory, says Trond.

It always gets close between the teams in the class of 500 km. Just a few minutes separate the mushers of the leading group, and small intricacies can be crucial. Besides there are always a few surprises.

- Jan Øystein Dervo became third last year. Maybe he makes it again this year. But also Nina Skramstad, Terje Hilmarsen, Arne Liaklev and Sigurd Beldo should not be forgotten. Additionally former mushers in the 1000-km-class as Femundløps-veteran Torbjørn Johnsen, Ronny Frydenlund with his good placemant in this year's Femundløp and the experienced Atle Bjerke can make a good race. The same is valid for Jan Vidar Dahle from Båtsfjord.
