TV-Nord wants to cover all happenings and events of this years Finnmarksløpet: With their own bus, 3 camera-teams and a messenger the local TV-station wants to provide the people of Western Finnmark with exciting reports about the latest results and with interviews during the broadcast.

Who is not able to receive TV-Nord, can watch the reports in the internet. On the homepage of Finnmarksløpet you find a direct link to the web presence of TV-Nord.

The amount of work, that is awaiting the sender, is quite a lot: In comparison to other sportsevents the Finnmarksløpet is not limited to only one place. This means that the reporter have to be always in prey of good stories. Vision and sound must be recorded independent of weatherconditions or daytime. When the report is complete, it is sent to the studio in Alta via broadband.

Front: Trond Anton Andersen. Middle: Benedicte Lyng, Henriette Jordheim,
Runa Schwebs, Victor Halvorsen. Back: Rune Berg and Torgeir Jonas.

- Unfortunately there is no access to broadband at any of the checkpoints, so we are only able to send the reports from the next access. This task is done by the messenger, who specially works for this purpose, tells executive producer Trond Anton Andersen.

The news have to be send independent to these circumstances. The quality will of course not suffer because of this.

- We focus on well done television, the contents have to be exciting and the quality excellent. We hope to get a good audience with that, adds Andersen.
