Jahnsen comes in as fifth

One of the big favourites of this years 1000km race, Petter "Pete" Jahnsen from Tuftingdalen, crossed the finish line as the fifth musher. Last year he had to give up because of an injury. - I am very happy. This has been a fantastic trip for me and the dogs, said Jahnsen after crossing the finish line at Strand camping.

Petter reached Alta with 9 dogs in his team. They looked almost incredibly fresh for having gone 1000 km. Their appetite was big, they played and were happy. But what was the best moment of the trip?

- The sunrise over Varanger was absolutely spectacular, but there have been many fantastic experiences, explained Petter who was looking forward to having pizza and beer.
