The winner of this years Finnmarksløpet is Roger Dahl. Everyone that saw Roger and Harald at the checkpoint in Karasjok had been convinced that Harald Tunheim was going to make it. But the policeman from Alta surprised everyone with a great performance on the last day and managed to catch Harald and arrive over half an hour ahead of him. Congratulations!
Roger has a long history connected to Finnmarksløpet. He has participated now for the 19th time and won only for the second. He came in as one of the top three 4 of the five times since 2000 so it was about time that he won again after his first victory in 1992.
