Petter Jahnsen seems to go for a comeback among the teams at the top of the ranking list. He is in a big rush now. He went straight through the checkpoint at Levajok without stopping, and took 5th position from May-Conny Johansen.

With this he managed to get closer to his competitors ahead of him, who all took long breaks. He is also moving fast on the trail. He spent 5h 42m from Sirbma to Levajok, making him the fastest on this stage. This is 50 minutes faster than Tore Bergby and only a little slower than Hans Petter Dalby. These two are ahead of him and fighting for 3rd place.

Tore, Hans Petter and Petter left Sirbma around 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 respectively. The fact that Petter dropped a break and continued at high speed, might mean that the musher from Tufsingdal is signing on to the competition for precious metals towards the end.
