Tore Bergby from Skien came at 17:39 into the checkpoint Karasjok with one dog in the sled. The man from Skien is now about 1 hour and 47 minutes after Harald Tunheim, and one short hour after Roger Dahl in the race.

Harald Tunhem drove fastest of the three men to Karasjok, but Bergby has only used three minutes more than Tunheim.

The question for now is about whether Petter Jahnsen and Hans Petter Dalby will catch up with Bergby on those 86 km upwards the river from Levajok, and bring more excitement to the final results in the race.
