- I hope to catch up with Tore, I have to give him his tobacco, Hans Petter laughs. They are currently fighting for third position in Finnmarksløpet.
Hans Petter Dalby left Levajok at 10:35 this morning, about an hour after Tore Bergby.
He had stopped three hours in Levajok, 40 minutes less than his competitor.
After 800 km in harnesses and on the sleigh both dogs and mushers are getting tired. Inside Levajok Mountain Inn Hans Petter ignored the sign "no sleeping in the living-rom" and took a nap in a comfortable chair. Looking at advancement, he got his boots back on and rushed on towards Karasjok.
The dogs were not too keen on the coming stage. They took off somewhat willingless and unhappy.
