Eirik Nilsen blew past the checkpoint in Sirbma last night, without a break. Shortly after he returned and rested more. The wind had blown so much snow onto the trail that he had difficulties moving ahead. Are Baker also decided to turn back.

Are Baker arrived Sirbma eight minutes to four last night. At checkoint they reported that he was in a hurry to continue. However, a while after he came back again.

He said that there was so much snow on the trail that he had to walk in front of the dogs.

The break ended up being much longer than planned. Not until four hours later did he head out, which means that he left checkpoint shortly before eight o'clock this morning.

Eirik Nilsen arrived Sirbma at 02:38 last night and was planning to rest for a wee bit of time only, but he also had to turn around.

The winds became stronger after the leading teams had passed Sirbma, which led to closed trails. After a while the people working on the trails had made sure that they were once again open.
