After having fallen asleep on his sled and missing a crossing, Ralph Johannessen ended out in the wilderness and lost all together at least 3 hours to his competitors.

The experieced musher slept when coming to the cross at Hillagurra. The team took the wrong turn and when Ralph woke up after the crossing did he not suspect any danger and continued in the wrong direction.

Ralph is known for his stamina and often has a strong finish. He was in a good position as eighth and he had clear ambitions to move further up. Now it must be asked whether he dreamed away his chance.
