This year, as last year, a tour for the press to Jotka will be arranged on the beginning day of Finnmarksøpet. The program will be as followed:
10:00 am Hotel Rica Alta - A press briefing connected to the starting day, where information will be given about the race, the program for the press and other relevant things.
When the race starts, the press will be present in the walking street (gågata) in Alta Sentrum. Those who wish to go to Jotka can take a bus to Sorrisniva/Detsika. We also have, at this moment, access to 4 scooters that all together can carry 12 persons to Jotka.
Please have your anouncements ready as soon as possible so we can schedule the transport.
PROGRAM:
13:30 pm Meeting in Detsika. There will be a presentation and briefing about the participants. Several stops on interesting places will be on the way to Jotka for those who want to take photos.
16:15 pm Dinner will be served at a restaurant in Jotka (Jotka fjellstue). The menu contains bidos, claudberrycream og coffee. The price is 180,- NOK per person.
17:30 pm Return; those who are going back to Alta will be transported there. Those who will join the pressbus will be transported there.
