A Nut

Something to think about while waiting for the next team to arrive at Alta Strand Camping.

Two teams are trotting along a trail making 15 km/h. A snowmobile coming in the opposite direction meets those teams and the time interval between the meetings are 30 min. The snowmobile speed is 45 km/h. How far apart are those teams (in time)? Have you found a rule? What if the snowmobile was moving in the same direction as the teams with the same speed (45 km/h) and observing the same time interval? Do you see another rule?
