Registration - entrants for Finnmarksløpet 2018
We encourage entrants to carefully read the information below. Also, entrants must familiarize themselves with the NHF and FL egulations.
Maximum number of participants
The organizer reserves the right to discontinue the registration earlier than advertised if the number of participants is too high. Any new deadline for registration will be announced on our website.
General information
The fee covers the service at all checkpoints, mandatory pre race check performed by our race veterinerians in before race start in Alta, the startbanquet and the prixbanquet (minus drinks) plus straw and transport of depots/food drops.
The mushers have the right to invite one of its handlers for free to the startbanquet and the prixbanquet.

Registration for FL-junior
It is very important to read through and understand the information below, before filling out the online entry form.
- The entry fee for FL-junior is 3 000 NOK.
- The minimum age in FL- junior is 15 years in the calendar year the race begins, the upper age is no older than 18 years the year the race starts. In 2018, the starting date is March 10th 2017
- To start the FL-junior, the participant must have run a long distance race of at least 100 km including one checkpoint. Participants who have not yet met the eligibility requirements for registration, are responsible for submitting relevant documentation by 20th February start year. It can be sent to signup@finnmarkslopet.no
- For registration to be approved and posted on our website, a registration fee of 1 000 kr must be paid to our account. The registration fee is part of the total entry fee, and non-refundable on cancellation.
- The deadline to register for the FL-junior is 15th February start year. The deadline to be registered for the draw of start numbers is by 30th September 2017. The deadline for payment of the full entry fee is 15th February start year.
- Refound of the entry fee for cancellation within 15th December 2017 is refunded with 50% of the totaly fee. After 15th December = no refund will be done. The participant can check out privat holiday and leisure insurance.

Registration for FL-500
It is very important to read through and understand the information below, before filling out the online entry form.
- The entry fee for FL-500 is 6 000 NOK.
- To start the FL-500 the participant must meet the qualification requirements for the FL-1200, or have completed a long distance race of at least 150km including one checkpoint in the past three seasons. Participants who have not yet met the eligibility requirements for registration, are responsible for submitting relevant documentation by 20th February start year. It must be sent to signup@finnmarkslopet.no
- The deadline to register for the FL-500 is 30th November 2017. The deadline to be registered for the draw of start numbers is by 30th September 2017. The deadline for payment of the full entry fee is 30th November 2017.

Registration for FL-1200

- The entry fee for FL-12 000 NOK.
- The minimum age to participate is 18 years.
- To start the FL-1200 the participant must have completed Finnmarkslopet FL-500, Femundløpet 600, Bergebyløpet 650 or an equivalent long distance of at least 500 km including one checkpoint, in the last five seasons. Participants who have not yet met the eligibility requirements for registration, are responsible for submitting relevant documentation by 20th February start year. - For registration to be approved and posted on our website, a registration fee of 2 000kr must be paid to our account. The registration fee is part of the total entry fee, and non-refundable on cancellation.
